At St Michael's we feel loved, we feel cared for and we feel confident to live our lives
knowing we are safe in God's loving arms. Please come along and feel it for yourself;
we would absolutely love to meet you.
Our team is committed to providing a safe nurturing and loving environment for your
children to grow in faith.
In Church we have a bright play area for you to sit with your babies, toddlers and
preschool children as they play, whilst still being part of the service.
Your school age children are welcome to sit with one of our team at a table set up
with colouring sheets, word searches and crosswords. These interactive and fun
resources relate to what we are all exploring each week through the readings and
sermon.

Of course books are always popular and we have an array of books suitable for all
ages
We have a service that aims to allow all of us at all ages to examine our feelings and faith together. During this service our clergy, our children and young families team and indeed the wider congregation love listening to and hearing the children. For this to happen we invite and encourage the children to read the readings and prayers as well as join in, as they wish, with the interactive presentation
Our Toddler group meets each Monday from 10.00 until 12.00 (not on bank
holidays) in Church. As you can imagine it is a lively time when the little ones enjoy
our wonderful space. They love all types of toys, craft activities, singing and stories
with, of course, snacks, but it is much more than that. It is a place for you to come
with your little ones, have a cuppa, relax and a chat. It is a non judgemental loving
and caring space and so much fun.
Over the last two or three years our wonderful community has grown and the
organisation and running of Little Mick's is shared by all of us and ideas on how we
can make it even better are very welcome. Please come along with your little one and
see for yourself the fun that can be had on a Monday morning. Don't worry if you
don't arrive at 10am and indeed your little one might need to go home early for a
nap. Whatever your circumstances on the day is absolutely fine with us. You are
always truly welcome.
