You will be very sorry to hear that Neil Hart died last Monday, 9 August. We send our sincere condolences to Pam, Kate, Jane, Polly and all the family. There will be a service in celebration of Neil’s life on Thursday, 26 August, in St Michael’s Church, at 2 pm to which everyone is invited. Parking will be available at the Boys’ Grammar School. The funeral at the Crematorium will be a private family service.

8am Holy Communion

9.30am Parish Eucharist in our beautiful church, with music and liturgy to match, and a warm welcome
Our 11.15am service this month especially features our Young People, with a theme of “Training to be a good Christian”

Kids Saturday, 24th July, 2-4

The next in our “Kid’s Saturday” series of workshop will be on Saturday 24th July, 2pm - 4pm. There will be craft workshops, worship and food. The theme is “Creation”. All young people welcome, unders 5s need parent or guardian present, over 11s can be helpers! Lots of fun for everyone!

A Celtic Service of Music and Meditation

Kids Saturday 26th June

Saturday 26th June, 2pm - 4pm our next Kid’s Saturday, with workshops, worship and food. This time it’s all about Noah’s Ark. This is aimed at junior age children, but younger ones are welcome with a parent present, and older young people are welcome as helpers. Bring your kids along, they’ll really enjoy it!

Service of Thanksgiving for Creation and Animal Blessing

Please note that the Service of Thanksgiving for Creation and Animal Blessing advertised in “SeeRound” for 27th July 2009, is in fact on 27th June 2010.

This is an ecumenical service, arranged under the auspices of ASWA, the Anglican Society for the Welfare of Animals, and will include hymns and readings relating to the welfare of animals, the blessing of animals, and an address by the Revd David Sox. All animals and their people welcome! Timid animals may prefer their people to bring a photo.

Lots going on this Sunday!

Holy Communion at 8.00am

At our 9.30am service the new PCC will be dedicated

The 11.15 am service will be our Baptism Renewal Service, where we renew our baptismal vows, and pray for everyone who has been baptized here over the last two years.

At 12.30, our Young People meet for lunch and a quiz to support Christian Aid.

At 6.30pm we have evening prayer.
