The Churchwardens are pleased to announce that

The Rev’d Dr Geoffrey Calvert

has been appointed as Priest-in-charge of St Michael & All Angels Church.  His Installation will take place on 30 September.

There will be an Ecumenical Service of Thanksgiving for Creation and Blessing of Animals

at St Michael’s on Sunday 5th July 2009 at 2 pm

with Rev George Ochola of St Michael’s and Rev Peter Robbins of Beechen Grove Baptist Church.  The speaker will be Samantha Chandler, Secretary of the Anglican Society for the Welfare of Animals.  (Enquiries to 01923 467502)

There will be a Coffee Morning and Bring-&-Buy Sale in aid of the Leprosy Mission on Saturday 27 June from 10.30 am to 12 noon in the church.  Gifts, preserves, raffle etc.
